How to Join the Potomac Bonsai Association

The Potomac Bonsai Association (PBA) is merely the umbrella organization over several member clubs. In order to join PBA, you join one of the member clubs. There are many clubs within PBA and you can join any of them. People join a certain club based on their meeting place proximity, the meeting date and time, or other factors. It’s up to you. The important thing is to attend your first meeting. And once you've joined any PBA club, you can attend meetings of any of the other clubs as well!

To attend your first meeting, find a club and where they meet on the Chapters/Clubs page. It may also be
wise to send a message to the club president beforehand to confirm the meeting. Sometimes clubs have occasional meetings at member’s houses or at other locations. The president will also be able to get you any last minute meeting updates.

At your first meeting, be sure to introduce yourself to the president and ask how you may learnmore about the club including how to become a member. And most of all, enjoy the meeting.

Then, once you've joined, keep an eye on your mailbox for your first issue of Clippings, the PBA newsletter!
